Social Justice Champions: Supporting people, helping them to be heard and protecting their rights
How can the principles of Independent Advocacy help you provide better support to people in vulnerable situations? As Advocates we use a person-centred approach which can be useful to everyone who works in a supportive role. In this course you will learn the core skills and frameworks of advocacy so you can help your clients achieve social justice.

Duration
12 hours for the full course.

- Resources and how to use them
- Two of the modules are also available separately.

Delivery
Our Social Justice Champion training is two days long and can be delivered either over two or four sessions. Some of our modules are available as stand-alone training sessions:

Effective Communication and Active Listening
This is an in-person session and can be delivered either in-house or within our fully accessible premises at One Strawberry Lane.
The course includes a training pack and personalised action plan. Participants will receive a certificate of completion on attendance of all sessions.
