NEW! VCSE Health and Wellbeing Networks
We will be running events throughout the year for the VCSE in Newcastle and Gateshead on the theme of health and wellbeing, including current information about health service delivery and local updates about the Integrated Care Boards (NHS). We’ll work with VONNE to feed in relevant information from the wider regional VCSE involvement structures.
The aim of these events will be to give the VCSE a stronger voice in the health system at a place based level, and look at key issues of concern and health information to support VCSE delivery.
We will run separate networks for Newcastle and Gateshead. The Newcastle events will also cover issues of social prescribing for the VCSE sector. The Gateshead events will link to the Gateshead VCSE Health Alliance.
There will be three Newcastle events per year and three Gateshead events per year. Sign up to our bulletins for the most up-to-date information about these events here.
Networking events
We also run six themed Networking Events a year, each on a specific topical theme, bringing the local VCSE together, to share information and connect with each other. These are open to any organisation serving Newcastle and Gateshead. Visit our training and events page to find out more.
