Newcastle Support into Volunteering Pathway

Are you recovering from addiction and living in Newcastle? This pathway is here to help you explore volunteering in a way that works for you.

Why Volunteer?

Volunteering can help you:

  • Meet new people and make friends
  • Feel more confident
  • Improve your wellbeing
  • Find something meaningful to do
  • Learn new skills that could help you get a job

It can be a great support during your recovery journey.

How It Works

We’ll work with you to:

  • Find volunteering that suits your interests
  • Offer flexible and personalised support
  • Help you feel comfortable and in control

You decide what you want to try. There’s no pressure and you can stop at any time.
