You will work predominantly (though not exclusively) across the HIV projects, working with a passionate staff & volunteer team to improve the lives of people living with HIV through one to one support, facilitating peer support groups, leading education sessions, educating professionals and the community about HIV. You will help us to reach those who disengage from care by offering dynamic, holistic support to reengage. The role includes:

We are looking for a dynamic, self motivated person to lead in the delivery of our ‘Plants for Pollinators’ programme. You will need to have significant knowledge and experience in horticulture, ideally with experience of polytunnel and greenhouse growing. You will also need good project management and communication skills as well as the ability to manage and work with staff and volunteers who have a range of needs and abilities.

An exciting opportunity has arisen within Connected Voice Advocacy for an enthusiastic and dedicated administrator to provide support to the Connected Voice Senior Administrator and the senior management team and in the day to day running of the service. 

You will co-ordinate the delivery of bespoke counselling services to black and minoritised women, children and young victims of violence and abuse across the North East.

We are delighted to be able to offer 2 part time posts for Counsellors to work with clients age 16+ living in the Gateshead area and dealing with issues associated with eating distress / disorders. These posts are funded by Newcastle and Gateshead CCG, in recognition of the high demand for support and the benefit of early intervention for people with eating problems.

EDNE and Newcastle University have worked closely for several years, with our specialist counsellors working within the Student Wellbeing Service to deliver up to 16 sessions of counselling and psychotherapy to students at Newcastle University.

We are continuing this work into the academic year 2023/24 and are recruiting for a part-time counsellor to work 18.5 hours per week alongside an existing full time role.

Funded for 8/9 months depending on start date including:
• Range of Full time & Part Time positions for Tyneside – Newcastle central (and 1 day/week in South Tyneside)
• 18.5 hr post – Northumberland bases
