Our advocacy team is growing!

Your Voice Counts has been delivering advocacy services in Gateshead since 1991 and we’re looking for Senior Advocates to help us to support and develop our team as we expand our service in the area. We pride ourselves on delivering a high quality, independent service that does vital work enabling vulnerable people to speak up for what they want and need, and ensuring their rights and entitlements are upheld.

Supporting people who have different health and social care needs, we deliver a range of services, including statutory advocacy roles for people subject to the Mental Health Act, the Mental Capacity Act, the Care Act and DoLS legislation.

Interested? This is a fantastic chance to join our knowledgeable and experienced team of advocates and we’d welcome applications from both qualified advocates looking to further their careers by moving into a management role, or experienced managers interested in exploring a career in advocacy who are looking for an opportunity to start their journey. We can provide training and support and have a strong track record of supporting our staff to become qualified and to develop the skills and experience they need to have a successful advocacy career.
