The Tree Council: Trees Outside Woodland Fund

The Tree Council, in partnership with Defra, offers funding through the Trees Outside Woodland Fund, which aims to establish trees outside of woodlands to create or enhance green spaces using a range of tree types and planting methods across England. It supports the government's goal to increase England's overall tree canopy cover to 16.5% by 2050. The fund is open to local authorities and registered charities in England.
Grants of between £10,000 and £40,000 are available for trees and supporting capital items.
