SUEZ Communities Fund - Community and Environmental Projects

Not-for-profit organisations can apply for funding to deliver projects that improve communities and the environment. 

The fund supports projects that improve public amenities, repair religious or historic buildings or support biodiversity in areas around Suez landfill sites.

The maximum grant size is £50,000. Funding typically covers materials, equipment and contractors for improvement work. 

The Suez Communities Fund will support capital improvement works to public amenity projects for community use, such as 

  • Village hall improvements. 
  • Nature reserves and conservation. 
  • Village greens. 
  • Community centres. 
  • Public playgrounds. 
  • Cycle paths. 
  • Sports fields and facilities. 
  • Country parks. 
  • Historic buildings, structures, or sites. 

Projects need to be located in a funding zone surrounding a qualifying site owned by SUEZ Recycling and Recovery UK.  Please use the Post Code Checker to check eligibility
