Legal and General Health Equity Fund

A new £3m fund to support projects run by UK SMEs, charities, social enterprises and community groups that address health inequalities. It will support projects or ideas to address the social determinants of health e.g. to improve outcomes and reduce inequalities/improve health equity. Groups with ideas for relevant initiatives or early stage projects can apply for up to £75,000 per project. The fund pilot in the North East is now live and will be rolling out to the whole country soon with the potential to support up to 150 place-based initiatives.
