Henry Smith Foundation: Support Domestic Abuse Counselling

The Henry Smith Foundation has announced that its Domestic Abuse: Counselling Fund will open for applications on 23 September 2026.
The programme will offer five-year grants of £250,000 to specialist organisations providing longer-term counselling for survivors of domestic abuse.
The fund aims to sustain access to person-centred, holistic and trauma-informed counselling, with services expected to provide at least 12 sessions.
Applicants must have at least three years’ experience delivering counselling to victim survivors. Five grants will be ring-fenced for organisations supporting children and/or young people.

- Fund opens: 23 September 2026
- UK charitable organisations, including eligible charities, CIOs and CICs, can apply.
- Annual income must be below £2 million.
- Grants are £250,000 over five years (£50,000 annually).
- 15 grants will be awarded.
The deadline for submitting an Expression of Interest is 5pm, 21 October 2026.
Shortlisted applicants will be invited to submit a full application by 18 December 2026.
