1. Tell us about your organisation (history, aims, vision):

Stomping Grounds North East are a charity who work to connect communities to the outdoors. We are a Forest School Association recognised provider, delivering in Northumberland, Gateshead, Durham and Newcastle.

2. Who do you serve? How do they access services?

We’re proud of our strong reputation for supporting those with least access to find their place in the world through outdoor adventure.

3. What are you current projects or services?

STNE currently offers Wellness sessions in Prudhoe and family sessions in Benwell and Gateshead. We have received funding to build on our successful 4 years at Benwell. The funding will further support us to reach out and help more families access the outdoors.

4. What are your three main concerns at the moment?

We are trying to reach out to families who would love to access the outdoors and be part of a wonderful community in Benwell. We have funding to also help volunteers gain a forest school qualification, this is a great opportunity.
