Introduction to AI Training - NEW
This brand new free online AI training has been co-designed by Connected Voice, Superhighways, NAVCA and other LIOs across the UK.
This training is suitable for any staff, volunteer or trustee of a charitable organisation who is new to using AI.
In this introductory session we will:
- Learn what AI is and briefly explore how it works
- Explore different uses of AI in a VCSE setting
- Weigh up what AI is useful for and where it is less useful
- Discover different AI tools that you may be using
- Test your skills by practicing prompt writing
We will also provide an AI policy template and further guidance for using AI.
This online session will be delivered on Teams. A joining link will be sent closer to the time of the training.
Our Support and Development team helps organisations to run successfully and make a positive difference in their communities. This training is for voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) organisations serving Newcastle and/or Gateshead.
You can only book one place for yourself. If a colleague wants to attend, they will need to book separately themselves. This training is limited to a maximum of 2 people per organisation. When you book, please ensure that you give us all the essential information requested so that we know your registration is genuine.
Our training and events are funded from a variety of sources, allowing us to offer them for free to eligible organisations. Please check the eligibility requirements for each session before signing up, as this varies from course to course. If your organisation is not eligible for a free session you may be interested in one of our tailored training packages.
You can keep up to date with the latest training and events from Connected Voice by subscribing to our fortnightly email bulletin.
