HATE ID Toolkit

Our Advocacy Team is proud to share the Hate ID Toolkit — a product of our collaboration with researchers at Durham University and Northumbria University.

We already have HATE ID app which is an online tool you can use on your mobile phone or device. This is a printable PDF version for those who prefer an offline tool.

HATE ID tools were developed to better equip frontline practitioners, the PDF or app supports professionals to:

• Identify indicators of hate incidents and hate crime

• Strengthen confidence in assessment and decision‑making

• Ensure victims can access the right support, at the right time

We also deliver Hate Crime and Anti‑Social Behaviour (ASB) Strategies training, supporting organisations to strengthen their frontline response. As part of this training, professionals are introduced to the Hate ID App — a practical tool that supports confident identification and referral in real‑world settings.
