NHS APP - Information Session for any staff and volunteers in Newcastle and Gateshead

-
Connected Voice Health Equity

As our world becomes increasingly digital, it’s essential that everyone in our community has the opportunity to fully access and benefit from it. The NHS App can help people take control of their health and care safely and conveniently. It’s free, secure, and designed to make everyday healthcare tasks simpler, but not everyone is able to access it easily.

Join this online seminar to find out more about a recent Gateshead project involving GP waiting rooms, supporting hundreds of people to access the app. Find out more about the value of this work, the difference it can make for your communities healthcare access, as well as the wider benefits for the NHS. We’ll cover common barriers to getting signed up, simple step-by-step guidance, and ways to make digital learning accessible.

Project run by Digital Voice for Communities in partnership with Gateshead Central South PCN.

This is a great overview on the NHS App, also if you are thinking of joining the practical training on the 17 of February.

This session is on Teams and part of the Digital Inclusion Network.
