Tell us about your organisation (history, aims, vision):

With support from the National Lottery Community Fund, we have created a year-round programme of activities for male asylum seekers and refugees who identify as gay, bisexual or curious. The group aims to provide a safe space to make new connections and to support each other through art and self-expression.

We have four rolling programmes throughout the year - ceramics, painting, comic stories, and photography - and run several social outings. The group's aims are to provide a safe social space for these men to make connections, build confidence and share stories in an empowering and supportive environment.

Who do you serve? How do they access services?

We serve male and male-identifying refugees and asylum seekers who are currently residing in Newcastle upon Tyne.

What are your current projects or services?

Arts and social groups, including the activities described above.

What are your three main concerns at the moment?

Accessing the community to provide support, the ongoing punitive refugee and asylum process, and the breakdown of communities.
