The Foundation gives grants to capital projects, refurbishment and grants for equipment, that help older people live active and fulfilling lives.
The aim of the Foundation is to improve quality of life and Trustees consider applications which make a difference to people over the age of 65.
The grants usually range between £1,000 and £1,500.
Trustees are interested in supporting a diverse range of charities which support older people, from large institutions to small community-run organisations. Due to the high demand for donations we prioritise applications from charities working in areas of deprivation and those which have a focus on arts and wellbeing.
Meetings of the Foundation take place quarterly, in January, April, July and October. Please note that donations may not be made for items or projects in retrospect.
