Gateshead Volunteer Recruitment Fair – Strengthening Community Connections with Residents
Connected Voice's very first Gateshead Volunteer Recruitment Fair is taking place on Wednesday 8th October 10:00am-1:00pm at Gateshead Leisure Centre, Alexandra Rd, Gateshead NE8 4JA
No booking required
Gateshead Volunteer Centre is bringing together over 18 fantastic VCSE organisations to connect with residents interested in volunteering locally. This is the first of its kind delivered by Connected Voice.
Why not organise a group visit with your service users, volunteers, or community members? As a VCSE professional, coordinator, or manager, this is a valuable opportunity to:
- Signpost and support your service users in exploring meaningful ways to help build their health, skills and wellbeing.
- Connect with other organisations, discuss roles and build partnerships.
Please share a press release (attached below) to whoever you think would benefit from the event. Alternatively, share the link to the event page on OurGateshead - the information website for residents of Gateshead.
Getting there:
Local bus routes 21, 29, 51, 52, 53, 54 and 67 stop nearby. Gateshead Leisure Centre is around a 22-minute walk from Gateshead Metro Station.
