Connected Voice is seeking to appoint a Sector Connector Coordinator
Full Time Salary £28,583
30 hours per week
Connected Voice is seeking a new member of our team to help us develop our employee-volunteering project, Sector Connector. This role is focused on working across Newcastle and Gateshead with businesses to support them to make a difference to their local communities by connecting them with voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) organisations that need help through skilled volunteering. You will also participate in the North of Tyne Volunteering Project, which aims to create the North of Tyne as an “area of excellence” for supporting formal and informal volunteering.

We are looking for a people person who is good at building and maintaining productive relationships in order to broker opportunities between businesses and VCSE organisations. You will also have an excellent understanding of the needs and motivations of volunteers. You will have excellent communication and organisation skills. You will have a can-do attitude with a high level of perseverance and resilience. You will have the opportunity to develop the role to take advantage of lots of potential future funding options.
This is an excellent opportunity for you to coordinate and develop a project, as well as develop your skills, knowledge and experience, and build your professional network.
