Accountant

Connected Voice Business Services is the trading subsidiary of the charity Connected Voice, providing accountancy and payroll support mainly to charities and voluntary organisations.

We are seeking to appoint a full time and part time Accountant to be based in the Charity Finance Team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a well established accountancy service that supports local charities.

The role involves the preparation of year-end statutory accounts, management accounts and general bookkeeping duties predominantly using Sage and QuickBooks to a portfolio of Clients across a wide variety of North East Charities whilst ensuring the services provided are tailored to the Charity’s needs.

We are looking for someone with at least three years’ experience of working in an accounting, bookkeeping and management accounts role, preferably in a professional services environment, working with multiple clients.

You should have professional accounting qualifications such as AAT, ACCA or equivalent, training towards one of these qualifications or qualified by experience. The post holder will need a high degree of ICT literacy including experience of Sage, QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.

The full time post is for 37 hours per week and the part time post is for 22.2 hours a week.
Salary £22,000 to £30,000 depending on experience and pro rata for part time hours
