Cultural Competency: working with ethnically marginalised communities
This tailored training package is for organisations of all shapes and sizes, delivering a wide range of projects and services. It is designed specifically around your organisation's services, and will give you the tools and confidence to engage meaningfully with your local ethnically marginalised communities. Learning outcomes: through a combination of activities and discussion, participants will:

- Understand the diverse and intersecting characteristics of local communities
- Develop skills to identify barriers to accessing services
- Recognise good practice
- Feel more confident in working with different communities
Who for: this session is ideal for staff and volunteers that have a public facing role or for those who want to better engage with local communities for the purposes of research and project development.
