Child Protection and Advocacy: Q&A Breakfast Event

Connected Voice Advocacy are delighted to invite you to Child Protection and Advocacy: Q&A Breakfast Event.

The event will take place from 9.30 a.m. - 11.30 a.m. on Thursday 1 August 2024 at One Strawberry Lane, Newcastle, NE1 4BX.

This event is aimed at professionals who work with parents. If you are involved in Child Protection, come along and:

• find out how to make a referral for advocacy
• talk to advocates about real experiences of supporting families
• hear about our proven track record to save your service time and money
• learn how advocacy can support parents to be better able to understand and engage with the Child Protection process, including court hearings, meaning improved chances of positive outcomes for families
• discover how we support parents practically and make meetings more comfortable and productive for all involved
• learn how to reduce confusion, tension, and make the process less adversarial leading to more positive engagement from parents

As part of this event, we will be showing Lasagna, a play based on the true-life experiences of women who have lost multiple children to the care system.
