Hedley Foundation

The Hedley Foundation provides grants to smaller charities operating across the spectrum of social need.  Last year it supported hundreds of small charities, improving lives and lifting people’s aspirations.

It has a particular emphasis on support for projects working with young people, disabled people, elderly and terminally ill people, but also a wider range of social welfare projects such as those for carers, homeless people and ex-offenders.  Applications should be

  • from a small to mid-size UK registered charity
  • not for salaries, building construction, general running costs, transport, financial deficits or overseas projects
  • not on behalf of a church, museum, an individual or exclusive group of people
  • not received a previous grant from The Foundation within the last 18 months.

The Trustees meet four times per year to review grant applications,

Applications must be at least 28 days before the review meeting
