“Meeting other people with good ideas”
We run Focused Networking Events throughout Spring and Autumn each year to provide organisations with a platform to share and learn about good practice, identify trends and enable all of us to make the best use of our skills and scarce resources.
Events by and for voluntary and community organisations
Our events are specifically for our charitable and voluntary community. We identify current issues and opportunities that we can work on together from our own experiences as a charity and our direct work with local organisations. The Focused Networking Events are your chance to highlight what matters so let us know if there’s a burning issue that affects your community.
Structured to help you get the most out of the day
Each networking event follows a current and relevant theme. We invite a range of key speakers from not-for-profit or social enterprise organisations in Newcastle and Gateshead to share their experiences and inspire new ideas. A question and answer panel gives everyone the chance to open up discussion on the theme, which is then followed up with focussed group discussions and an informal networking break.
What do people say?
“Great opportunity to network and understand how organisations can work together to fulfil a common cause”
“Moral support – running a charitable organisation in these times is really challenging”
“The most beneficial part was the focused conversations”
