- Tell us about your organisation/department/project (your aims, what you do, who you work with):
I am a Sexual Health Nurse Specialist and my role is the development of the Mobile Outreach Service for Sexual Health Services in Newcastle. I work in partnership with other key stakeholders including commissioned and non-clinical providers to provide targeted clinical & sexual health care and promotion to key priority groups with an aim to reduce some of the local health inequalities. I target at risk populations such as, asylum seekers, sex workers, ethnic minority groups, migrants, high risk & hard to reach young people. MSM, LGBTQ & homeless people.

Being a Haref Ally has allowed me to network and engage with more groups that we would possibly have not reached, committed to reducing health inequality.

I have worked very closely with organisations such as The Angelou Centre to deliver sexual health awareness including Contraception and STI testing
