Welcome to our Newcastle and Gateshead Funding Fair 2021

We’re thrilled to welcome Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) organisations serving Newcastle and Gateshead our 2021 Funding Fair.  The uncertainty around COVID-19 restrictions being lifted made us decide back in the early Spring that delivering the Fair virtually was the safest and wisest option. It’s the second year we’ve delivered our Fair virtually – last year we presented a series of funder videos and information seminars on our website. This year it’s a live event presented on Zoom.

We’ve been able to assemble a brilliant range of funders, both large and small, local and national – so many that we’ve spread the event over three days – Wednesday 16th, Thursday 17th and Wednesday 23rd of June – running from Noon to 3pm each day. For details of the timetable, and how to register to receive the Zoom link to attend go to https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/153642682399

These are live events, which we won’t be recorded, so if you want to hear from these funders and have the opportunity to ask questions you need to be there on the day.  You need to book by 10am on the relevant day to be sure of receiving the Zoom link.

Update: Please note there will now be a separate Zoom link for each Day. A replacement Zoom link for Day Three will be sent out on the day.  If you haven't already registered, you must book by 10am on the morning of Wednesday 23rd.

We’re opening day one with a whistle-stop tour around Connected Voice, which we’re delighted to preview here in this series of short videos: with a welcome from our Chief Executive Lisa Goodwin, a brilliant animation of Connected Voice’s work across all of our service areas during the last year from our Communications Officer Amy McKie. There’s an overview of our Support and Development team from Mark Shilcock, including funding support. We’ve also videos showcasing the services we offer commercially; the work of Connected Voice Haref striving for health equality for ethnic minority people in our region; and an overview of the extensive range of support for individuals provided by Connected Voice Advocacy.

It’s our biggest event of the year, and we’d be thrilled to have you join us.
