Lisa Goodwin shortlisted for the North East Charity Awards

North East Charity Awards Finalist

We're delighted to learn that our Chief Executive, Lisa Goodwin, has been shortlisted in the Charity Leader of the Year category in the North East Charity Awards.

The Awards ceremony is a live gala dinner taking place on the 20 October. It is a chance to recognise the hard work and innovative thinking by our local charities and individual fundraisers, increase awareness of our local charities, celebrate those who work tirelessly to support the many good causes in our region and also celebrate the local businesses and individuals who help support the work of our charities.

Lisa Goodwin has been shortlisted in the category for Charity Leader of the Year alongside Paula Edwards from Forward Assist and Dot Smith from Recovery Connections. Lisa said she is humbled to be shortlisted alongside these two women who have made such a significant contribution to their organisations.

We're also pleased to see a number of the local organisations we work with here in Newcastle and Gateshead shortlisted, including Gateshead Older People's Assembly, 2 Way Tenancy Solutions CIC, Children North East, Tyne & Wear Citizens, Newcastle United Foundation and Twisting Ducks Theatre Company. We wish all the finalists the best of luck at the #NECharityAwards
